Ellen MacDonald, Senior
Event Planner
International in scope, Ellen MacDonald has
extensive experience producing corporate incentive programs, employee
appreciation events and other customized corporate and non-profit events.
A 20-year veteran in the field of event marketing and management, Ellen’s
expertise in negotiations has saved clients hundreds of thousands of dollars
in hotel contracts alone. Her well established relationships with hotels,
caterers, vendors and service providers, insure that clients receive the
best possible rates. Drawing on her vast experience, which includes North
America, Europe and Asia, Ms. MacDonald can provide a diverse global perspective
for any type of event.
Ellen’s career highlights include launching Events Management Consulting
(EMC), which she formed with the goal and mission of facilitating business
organizations in the cost effective planning and production of events.
Jodie first retained Ellen’s services as a consultant for The Open
Software Foundation. Ellen has worked with Jodie and EventFull Strategies
over the past 11 years, including managing international conferences located
in Amsterdam and Singapore. Prior to EMC, Ms. MacDonald was a Corporate
Director of Events for a Fortune 500 IT Company.
